Types of GenPlates available
There are two types of GenPlates, each available in five configurations.
The first type of GenPlate is for crude samples, such as blood, saliva, overnight clone cultures.
The second type of GenPlate is for DNA such as genomic DNA or plasmid DNA. These GenPlates are treated with a proprietary chemical to allow reversible binding of DNA with the cellulosic paper matrix.
Each GenPlates comes pre-labeled with a 14-digit barcode, which is systematically coded to describe each unique GenPlate.
In addition to GenPlates for crude samples and purified DNA samples, GenPlates with GenCode are also available for each biosample type.
