GenVault was founded with a mission to simplify sample sharing, stabilize biosamples for decades and integrate sample storage and retrieval seamlessly with day to day lab operations for life science researchers. To that end, we developed the GenPlate. Building on proven sample storage technology – FTA paper, the GenPlate is the ideal solution for researchers who frequently share cell-based DNA-containing biosamples with other colleagues, who require the nearly effortless generation of experiment-sized aliquots, or who want to create a disaster proof backup of a valuable sample collection, such as a clone library. Hardware and software products complement our core storage solutions and allow researchers to organize their samples all at room temperature in a secure, high-density, and low cost format compared to freezers. Most importantly, GenVault understands that no storage solution is viable unless the DNA recovered from that storage medium functions properly in downstream genetic assays. We have extensively tested each of our storage platforms for compatibility with commonly used assays.
