Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop project testing approaches by planning and negotiating testing scope, resource assignments and schedule.
- Write test scripts for complete coverage of project.
- Execute tests by using available resources, tools, documentation and test methods such as black box, white box, integration, system and regression.
- Provide and maintain technical documentation of the application(s). Provide all content for software user manuals.
- Clearly communicate project testing status and issues by writing project testing status reports, attending project meetings, interacting with project team members and producing accurate QA deliverables on schedule .
Required Qualifications:
- Passion for software testing.
- 3 (or more) years commercial software QA experience.
- Thorough knowledge of quality assurance techniques, testing processes, build/deploy management, and technical documentation.
- Very strong and demonstrable record (at least three or more projects) of testing products through the full life cycle from design to production.
- At least 2+ years testing in a Java/J2EE environment
- Very good writing and communications skills
