Primary Responsibilities
- Carry out experiments in support of product development and maintain a well organized lab notebook
- Carefully record experimental outcome paying attention to details at every step for proper troubleshooting
- Compile, analyze and present data at lab meetings
- Order and ensure proper stocking of reagents and disposables
- Move between projects to provide proper assistance
- Follow and adhere to SOP’s and all safety regulations as they apply to the laboratory and work areas.
Qualifications
- A strong background in molecular biology
- Skilled in PCR, rt-PCR and DNA/RNA isolation and purification
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in molecular biology
- Three to five years commercial experience in laboratory research
- Strong computer skills, including all Office products
- Proven ability to report and present experimental results and analysis
- Strong interpersonal skills, including both written and oral communication skills.
